Consistency - In training, consistency is key to achieving your fitness goals. Consistency is arguably an essential component when working to accomplish goals, in or out of the gym. Without consistency, programs are unorganized; the body has a harder time adapting, and forming habits may be more challenging. Read more here. Transition Training - Transition training is referred to as the fourth discipline of triathlon, and it's commonly overlooked in the lead up to a race, but it's something that shouldn't be sacrificed. Read more here. Eat Smart - Fueling yourself is essential when training, and even when racing. Keeping your tank full is vital to get the best out of yourself. Knowing what foods are right for you is also important, especially what works for you on race day. Read more here. Sleep - Acts as recovery, conserves energy and allows your muscles to rebuild and repair from your previous session. Sleep, therefore, aids in making you feel better for tomorrow's session. Read more here. Brick sessions - Brick Sessions simulate fatigue and allows your body to adjust to what it will feel like on race day. The more you practice this, the more comfortable you will find it to run off the bike. Read more here. On February 17th, Deri will be hosting a LIVE Q&A session over on Instagram from 19:00.

To submit your questions, email them in advance to Tri Fit: info@trifituk.com or message through to Instagram from 19.00 on 17th February.
